A special subset of Twitterstorians spoke up this week, opening the “aluminum curtain,” and exposing the rest of us to the subtle nuances and historical markers that define their Mac fanaticism.

Twitterstorian Joel Manahan dropped this knowlege bomb on us: “Apple nerds like me will know that Apple wasn’t *quite* the first company to come up with GUI.”  We didn’t believe him either, until we saw the truth for our own eyes:
